Our annual tradition continues this season with our 19th DanceAfrica. Get ready to intrigue your mind and energize your soul with our special guest performers, Chicago’s own Ayodele Drum and Dance! Returning guests artists Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and Voices of Empowerment choir, directed by Grammy award winner, Pamela Dawson, will take the stage for a powerful display of cross-cultural celebration. Tap into the universal language of rhythm when our dancers and audience join together for our infamous communal Bantaba dance experience following the performance at Moody Performance Hall.
